Wasted Youth- Live At The Whiskey- 08/03/81

Here is a cool set from Wasted Youth from 1981.
Wasted Youth were a hardcore punk band from LA in the early 80's. They had two official releases. The first was the 'Reagan's In' LP, which is a great example of early 80's hardcore punk. Great record. The second LP is a failed attempt at a more metal approach. There are a couple decent songs, but as a whole, the record get a big fail. Get 'Reagan's In' though.
This live set is pretty good too. In fact, based on this set and others that I have, I think this band was better live than on record. The sound seems more angry and furious than on the LP.
Enjoy the music!

I like the second one two - it fails to be metzal that`s right, but it`s a good punk record anyway - the singing reminds me of the Circle Jerks

Is there any way to get this in mp3 format? I love Wasted Youth, but I haven't got a clue what to do with this file.

hey, everything that i own is played on my itunes at one point or another, so beyond that, i dont even know the difference between an mp3 and m4a. i know they both play on itunes. if anyone can suggest anything...

Not quite sure what the technical difference is, but m4a files can't be burned on to a CDR unless you convert them. I found a converter online, so I can download them now. I'm one of those old guys that doesn't have an i-pod & I don't keep files on my computer due to lack of hard drive space. Plus I'm always afraid of what would happen if my PC crashed. If I lost my punk collection from the past 25+ years, I'd want to die.

Question. I found mp3s (instead of the m4a's) of this, and there's only 9 tracks. Did the original post have the rest of the set? There should be 17 songs total.
